Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) program, or related field.
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) preferred, or willingness to obtain certification.
- Previous experience working with individuals with speech and language disorders preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and learning.

Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in conducting screenings, assessments, and evaluations of clients' speech and language abilities.
- Prepare therapy materials and resources as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Provide direct therapy services to clients, both individually and in group settings, under the guidance and supervision of the SLP.
- Implement therapy plans and activities designed by the supervising SLP to address clients' communication goals.
- Document client progress, attendance, and session notes as required.
- Collaborate with the supervising SLP and other members of the therapy team to ensure coordinated care and effective communication.
