Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for a full-time W2 contract position, covering the remainder of the school year. As an SLPA, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students in developing effective communication skills and overcoming speech and language challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to implement therapy plans and interventions.
- Provide one-on-one or small group speech and language therapy sessions to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to student development.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educational professionals.
