Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Position in Ontario, CA

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a contract position in Ontario, CA. This opportunity offers a start date of ASAP with an end date of May 25, 2024, with the possibility of extension into ESY (Extended School Year) or NSY (Next School Year). This is a full-time position, requiring 35+ hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students according to their individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with the supervising speech-language pathologist (SLP) to develop and implement therapy plans.
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license.
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
