Responsibilities:
- Assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in conducting assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language needs.
- Implement individualized therapy plans under the guidance of the SLP.
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and parents to facilitate students' progress.
- Maintain accurate and organized student records.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to educational planning.
- Support and encourage students in achieving their communication goals.
- Adhere to state and federal regulations and school policies.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) program or equivalent.
- WA state licensure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload.
