Job Title: School Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Texas (TX), Middle/High School Setting
Duration: ASAP until 5/27, Contract Position
Hours: 30-40 hours per week
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team at a middle/high school in Texas. This contract position offers an immediate start date until May 27th, with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have experience working with middle and high school students, providing speech and language services. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as this would be advantageous for our diverse student population.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologist in conducting assessments and evaluations.
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the guidance of the SLP.
- Conduct therapy sessions with students, both one-on-one and in small groups.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student success.
- Billing client for services rendered.
Qualifications:
- SLPA certification or license in the state of Texas.
- Experience working with middle and high school students preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency is a significant asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
