Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Full Time Position
Blazer Jobs is currently seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologist Assistants for full-time positions within school districts in the Round Rock, Texas area for the upcoming school year. Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to apply.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
- Experience working in educational settings preferred
- Ability to pass background checks and screenings required by the school district
Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech Language Pathologists in conducting assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language abilities
- Implement therapy plans and activities under the supervision of licensed professionals
- Document and maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication goals
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on students' goals and progress
