Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Position Open

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologist Assistants to join our team for full-time positions within school districts in the Round Rock, TX area. The successful candidates will play a vital role in supporting students' speech and language development, ensuring they have the necessary skills to succeed academically and socially.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- SLPA State Teaching License
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Implement speech and language therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Assist in the assessment of students' speech and language abilities.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
