Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced Speech and Language Pathologists for a full-time role within school districts in the Fairfield, California area.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must meet all local and state requirements for Speech and Language Pathologists, including:
    • Possession of a valid license in Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California
    • Completion of a Master's degree program in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
    • Preferably hold certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Prior experience working with school-aged children is highly desired.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to address the specific communication needs of each student.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to student support and progress.
  • Provide therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, addressing areas such as articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student evaluations, progress reports, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with advancements and best practices in the field of speech and language pathology.
