SLPA Needed For School District
Wheeling, LA
Soliant Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to fill an opening in an amazing school district near Westlake, LA. The role of the SLPA: working alongside an SLP to provide services for school age students ranging from grades K-12.
Job Description & Requirements:
- BA in Speech Communications or AAS degree from SLPA program
- SLPA certification for Louisiana
- Full-Time (Monday - Friday)
- Caseload: K-12
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication w/ staff, students/parents during high-stress and crisis situations.
- Ability to travel between buildings during the day may be required – work may take place in multiple school sites.
- Providing direct and indirect services in accordance with a student’s IEP.
- Onsite only, virtual not an option.
