Position: School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Start Date: Summer with Renewal for 24/25 School Year
Caseload: K-12
Contract: Through ProCare Therapy
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated School SLPA to join our team in Sutter County, CA. This position offers an opportunity to start in the summer and continue into the 2024-2025 school year. The SLPA will work with students across K-12 and will receive competitive hourly pay, benefits, insurance, and 401K options for full-time employment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Implement therapy plans and interventions designed to address students' communication goals.
- Collaborate with the SLP, teachers, and other school staff to support students' academic and social-emotional needs.
- Document student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- California SLPA license or eligibility for licensure.
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Additional Details:
- Position starts in the summer with the opportunity for renewal for the 24/25 school year.
