Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) seeking an immediate opportunity to contribute to the communication development of students in a K-12 setting? We are actively seeking an SLPA to join our team in Brookfield, MA, to work with students across various grade levels and make a positive impact on their communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in the K-12 educational setting.
- Collaborate with the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Conduct screenings and assessments to identify communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address speech and language goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the overall success and well-being of students.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
- Massachusetts state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant
- Previous experience working with middle school students is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
