SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) Contract Role- Now Hiring

Blazerjobs is thrilled to partner with the local school district in Ellicott City, MD to fill a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position. We are seeking a talented and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive speech and language services to students, collaborate with school staff and families, and support students' communication skills in educational settings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language skills, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language comprehension and expression.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals to address students' communication needs, in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, using evidence-based intervention techniques and strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom and support students' academic success.
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed, documenting treatment sessions and progress notes accurately and timely.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Georgia.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience working as an SLP in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
