About Us: Soliant Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare staffing and services, is currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work on a contract basis with a local School District. Position Overview: As a Speech-Language Pathologist contracted through Soliant Healthcare, you will be an essential part of our team, assisting students in overcoming communication challenges and achieving their educational goals. Your role will involve assessing, diagnosing, and providing intervention services for speech and language disorders in a school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each student.
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to ensure students' academic success.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and treatment plans.
- Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing valuable input on students' goals and objectives.
- Stay current with the latest best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Massachusetts state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- While prior school setting experience is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
