Digital Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Louisiana (K-12)

Job Details:

  • Position: Digital Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Location: Louisiana (Remote)
  • Employment Type: Full-time 
  • Duration: Academic Year 

Responsibilities: As a Digital Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be at the forefront of helping students overcome communication and speech obstacles. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Conducting virtual assessments to identify communication disorders and needs.
  2. Developing and implementing personalized therapy plans for students.
  3. Providing virtual therapy sessions using innovative telehealth technology.
  4. Collaborating closely with educators, caregivers, and other professionals to support students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  5. Monitoring and documenting student progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as required.
  6. Keeping precise and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and student outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Louisiana SLP licensure.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students with mild to moderate diagnoses.
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments and creating IEPs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for remote therapy.
  • Comfortable using teletherapy platforms and technology.
