- Itinerant throughout the county
- Students from Kindergarten to 12th grade
Number of Positions: 1
Pay Rate: $45 - $55 per hour depending on experience

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Yuba City, CA, for the 2024-2025 school year. As an SLPA, you will work collaboratively with Speech-Language Pathologists to provide speech and language therapy services to students across various grade levels within the county.
Responsibilities:
- Implement speech and language therapy interventions as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Work with individual students or small groups to support their communication skills development.
- Assist in the collection of data and progress monitoring to track student outcomes and effectiveness of interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' speech and language needs in classroom settings.
- Travel to different school sites throughout the county to provide services to students in various K-12 settings.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and service delivery in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and other professional development activities as required.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program from an accredited institution.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license or certification in the state of California.
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work with students with varying communication needs and abilities.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the county to provide services.
