Role and Responsibilities: As an SLP in Syracuse, NY, you will play a crucial role in improving the lives of students by addressing their communication and speech needs. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify communication disorders.
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to address students' speech and language goals.
- Providing therapy sessions in a supportive and nurturing environment.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure a collaborative and holistic approach to student progress.
- Tracking and documenting student progress and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid New York state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
- Experience or a strong interest in working with school-aged children.
