Position Overview: Soliant Health is seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in the West Bradenton, Florida area. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals of all ages regain and maintain their communication skills. You will work closely with patients to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders, ultimately improving their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals
- Provide therapy services to improve speech articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and swallowing function
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, educators, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive care and positive outcomes
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy
