Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Wilmington, DE
Duration: 24/25 School Year
Hours: Full Time
Description: We're in search of a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Wilmington, DE for the 24/25 school year. This full-time position includes potential Extended School Year (ESY) services. You'll work with a K-12 high-needs school population, primarily students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), with moderate to severe needs. Our school offers excellent support, including contractor involvement in Professional Development. Please note, lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance may be required. This role does not include virtual therapy due to high caseload needs.
Requirements:
- Open to candidates with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year)
- Experience or interest in working with students with ASD
- Full-time availability for on-site work
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to K-12 students with moderate to severe needs
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans
- Collaborate with school staff and contractors for student progress
- Participate in Professional Development activities
Note: This role offers robust school support and may require lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance. Virtual therapy is not included due to high caseload needs.
