Position Details:
- Current School Year
- Full or part time candidates will be considered
- Itinerant
- Caseload: K - 12th grade, specific caseload will be discussed in the interview process
- Pay Range: $30 - $40 per hour, depending on previous experience
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments, utilizing appropriate teaching strategies, materials, and assistive technology.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure accessible educational materials and technology are available for students with visual impairments.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to support students' access to the general education curriculum.
Qualifications:
- Must have an Active State License in Visual Education
- Must have a Master’s Degree in Education for Visually Impaired Students
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
