Are you an experienced Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) seeking a flexible virtual role with a meaningful impact? We are actively hiring a remote DHH Teacher to support a K–12 caseload for the upcoming school year in the New Orleans, LA area. This position allows you to deliver specialized services from the comfort of your own home while helping students thrive.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide virtual instruction and support to students with hearing impairments across K–12 grade levels

Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs

Collaborate with families, school staff, and other service providers through virtual platforms

Monitor and report on student progress

Participate in virtual IEP meetings and professional development
Requirements:
-
Valid Louisiana DHH teaching certification
-
Minimum 3 years of experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing

Proven success delivering virtual services

Strong communication and technology skills

Reliable internet connection and secure remote workspace
