Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing speech and language therapy plans for students.
- Provide direct therapy services under supervision, focusing on articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Ensure compliance with school policies and privacy regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working as an SLPA in either school or healthcare settings preferred.
- No state-specific license required; however, certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or another recognized credentialing organization is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children and multidisciplinary teams.
