Job Description:
Soliant is hiring a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for a full-time contract in a supportive school district in Woodcrest, CA. The successful candidate will work under the direction of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to implement therapy plans and provide direct support to students with communication needs. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your school-based experience.
Responsibilities:

Implement documented Individualized Education Program (IEP) treatment plans and protocols developed by the supervising SLP.

Provide direct treatment assistance to students individually and in groups, focusing on articulation, language, fluency, and social communication skills.

Document student progress toward meeting established objectives and report information to the supervising SLP.

Assist the SLP during assessments, prepare materials, and perform clerical duties.

Conduct speech-language screenings using protocols developed by the supervising SLP (without interpretation).

Maintain and check equipment, including augmentative communication devices.
Requirements:

Active CA SLPA License
-
Completion of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders, or a Board-approved SLPA program.

Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred.

Must be able to provide services under the direct and indirect supervision of a licensed SLP.
