Requirements:

Must meet all California state and local licensing and certification requirements to work as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant.

Experience working with special education students and families is strongly preferred.

Ability to implement therapy goals under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
Typical Job Duties:

Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
-
Work closely with the supervising SLP to execute treatment plans.

Collect and document data on student progress and therapy outcomes.
-
Prepare therapy materials and assist with scheduling and organizing therapy sessions.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success.

Help facilitate carryover of communication skills into academic and social settings.
