We are currently seeking onsite Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to join a school district in Wilmington, DE. This position begins ASAP and is currently interviewing for multiple openings. The position continues through the end of the school year. With a focused caseload and strong student support, this is a great opportunity for SLPAs seeking consistent work and meaningful impact.
Position Details

Location: Wilmington, DE

Discipline: SLPA

Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week | Monday – Friday

Contract Dates: ASAP – end of the school year

Setting: Onsite, district office and school-based sessions
Caseload
-
Grades: K–8 (primarily K–5)

Manageable caseload: projected total of 35 students
-
Students are qualified to receive speech and language services for articulation and fluency impairments
-
Most students receive approximately 90 minutes of services per month

Requirements
-
Active Delaware SLPA licensure
-
Degree in Communications or Speech-Language Pathology
-
Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
-
Deliver speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
-
Support IEP goals and track student progress
-
Provide direct therapy for articulation and fluency impairments

Prepare and assist with therapy activities
-
Collaborate with supervising SLP, teachers, and families as needed
