Pediatric School Speech Therapy Assistant | Anderson, Indiana
A school-based opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade during the 2025–2026 school year. This contract position is located in Anderson, IN, with options for full-time or part-time schedules within public school settings.
Responsibilities include delivering individual and small-group speech therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). The SLPA will implement treatment plans targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication while tracking and documenting student progress. Collaboration with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers is essential to support IEP implementation and ensure compliance with all district and state requirements.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited SLPA program
- Active state SLPA license or registration
- Ability to work under both direct and indirect SLP supervision
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred, but not required
