Sunbelt Staffing is now accepting applications from Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) interested in travel-based school contracts for the 2025–2026 school year.

What You Should Know About Travel Assignments
A travel assignment is a full-time role in a school district located at least 50 miles away from your tax home. Travel SLPAs are compensated with hourly pay plus 50% non-taxed stipends to support housing and daily expenses. Each contract lasts through the school year, with renewal and relocation options at completion.

Responsibilities

• Conduct therapy sessions under SLP supervision

• Track progress and contribute to IEP documentation

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support communication goals

• Maintain a positive, student-centered approach

Requirements

• Valid SLPA license in the state of assignment

• Previous experience working with children preferred

• Willingness to travel 50+ miles from home

• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
