School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Virginia Beach, VA
Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, school-based contract position in Virginia for the 2025–2026 school year. This role is ideal for an SLPA who is passionate about supporting students’ communication development in a collaborative and student-centered environment.
About the Role
The SLPA will assist in delivering high-quality speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP. This position involves direct intervention, progress monitoring, and supporting IEP implementation for students across various grade levels.
You will:

Provide direct speech-language therapy services as outlined by supervising SLP

Support IEP goals through individualized and small-group sessions

Assist with data collection, documentation, and progress updates

Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers

Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and communication-rich school environment
Qualifications

Active Virginia SLPA license (required)

Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred

Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills

Ability to work onsite and follow SLP supervisory guidelines
Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $28– $35+ per hour (commensurate with experience)

Full-time W-2 contract (35–40 hours/week)
