Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Van Nuys, CA
A Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) role is available for the upcoming contract school year in Van Nuys, CA, supporting K-12 students. This position is designed to assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in delivering high-quality speech therapy services and managing a caseload of approximately 45 students. The assignment starts in February 2026 and concludes on June 4, 2026, with a commitment of 30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with SLPs to implement speech therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs.
- Support the management and documentation of student caseloads.
- Assist in developing and carrying out Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide direct support to students during speech therapy activities.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable policies and procedures.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working in a K-12 educational setting.
- Relevant certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
- Ability to manage a significant caseload while providing quality care.
