Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Valparaiso, IN
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for a full-time, short-term school-based contract position in the Valparaiso, IN area. This assignment will begin in January following winter break and offers the opportunity to provide high-quality speech and language support to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet all requirements established by local and state education agencies, including:

Active Indiana SLPA license or eligibility through the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency
-
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
-
Experience working with children or students with special needs highly preferred
-
Ability to implement therapy plans as directed by a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
-
Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Typical Responsibilities:
-
Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
-
Implement treatment plans to address speech, language, articulation, and social/pragmatic goals
-
Support students in general education and special education environments
-
Collect data on student progress and report findings to the supervising SLP

Prepare instructional materials and assist with documentation and compliance requirements
-
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
-
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all district and state regulations
