This contract position offers an opportunity to work as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Assistant and/or SLP serving students from grades K-12 across two middle schools and one high school. Located in Sahuarita, AZ, the role involves providing full inclusion speech-language services without special day classes or transition programs. Scheduled hours range from 8 to 20 per week across all school sites, with supervision provided for SLP Assistants (SLP-A).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services in inclusive classroom settings
- Collaborate with teaching staff to support student communication goals
- Document and monitor student progress according to established protocols
- Participate in team meetings related to student needs and interventions
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP credentials, such as Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC or CFY certification, or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) licensure appropriate for school settings
- Experience providing speech-language services to children in K-12 educational environments
- Ability to work flexible hours between the three assigned school locations
- For SLP-A positions, eligibility for clinical supervision is required
