An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students in a full-time role for the remainder of the school year. This position is focused on assisting the speech-language pathologist in delivering virtual services, providing essential support to students’ communication development in a dynamic educational setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the speech-language pathologist in implementing individualized treatment plans virtually
- Conducting speech and language activities and exercises under supervision
- Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborating with the educational team to support student goals
- Participating in virtual meetings and training sessions as needed
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience as an SLPA in a school setting, preferably K-12
- Familiarity with virtual speech therapy platforms and techniques
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students remotely
- Ability to work effectively in a full-time capacity through the school year contract
