A skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed to provide support services in two San Antonio-area schools under a contract position. This opportunity involves working on-site in a vibrant educational setting to assist students from middle school through high school.
Location: San Antonio, TX
Assignment: On-site at 2 schools (middle and high school)
Contract Duration: ASAP through May 29, 2026
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language support services to students across two schools, including a middle school (grades 6-9, serving approximately 40 students, 2 days per week) and a high school (grades 9-12, serving approximately 70 students, 3 days per week)
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists and educators to implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district guidelines
- Facilitate effective communication and progress monitoring for assigned caseload
- Adhere to district requirements, including additional credentialing forms after offer acceptance
Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLPA licensure is required
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in middle and high school settings
- Bilingual Spanish skills preferred but not mandatory
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to work within two school environments
