Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Full-Time Opportunity near Tusculum, TN
Job Overview
In this role, the SLPA will support a diverse caseload ranging from early elementary through secondary levels, with needs spanning articulation, language development, social communication, and functional expressive/receptive language. You will work closely with a supervising SLP who provides consistent guidance, accessible support, and collaborative planning—creating an environment where you’re never left guessing and always feel prepared for each school day.
Therapy sessions are scheduled with intention, allowing for predictable routines, appropriate caseload balance, and the ability to build meaningful rapport with students and campus staff. The district also emphasizes accurate documentation practices and provides the tools necessary for streamlined, organized workflows.
Responsibilities

Provide structured, evidence-based therapy activities under the supervision of the SLP

Support individualized goals and accommodations outlined in student IEPs

Prepare materials, gather data, and contribute to progress monitoring

Communicate regularly with teachers to reinforce classroom carryover

Maintain organized records, timely documentation, and compliance with district expectations

Participate in collaboration meetings, problem-solving discussions, and planning sessions with your supervising SLP

Help promote a positive, student-centered learning environment across assigned campuses
Qualifications

Active Tennessee SLPA license (required)

School-based experience preferred, but strong clinical experience will be considered

Ability to work onsite full time with reliability and professionalism

Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Commitment to supporting students with a wide range of speech and language needs
