We are hiring a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support early childhood students in a Tacoma, WA school district. This full-time school-based contract role pays $38–$43 per hour (W2). This is a great opportunity for an SLPA seeking hands-on experience in an early intervention setting.

Requirements:

Washington SLPA license
-
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field

Prior school experience preferred but not required
Typical responsibilities:
-
Deliver therapy activities as directed by the supervising SLP
-
Work with early childhood students to support communication and language skills
-
Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and SLPs to align interventions with IEP goals
-
Assist with classroom strategies that promote speech and language development
