Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – Full-Time

Schedule: 37.5 hours per week (Full-Time, Onsite)

Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our educational team in Tacoma, WA. This full-time, onsite position will serve early childhood students, working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students' communication development in a school-based setting.
Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language therapy services as directed by the supervising SLP

Assist with the implementation of individualized treatment plans and IEP goals

Document student progress and maintain accurate service records

Prepare therapy materials and support classroom-based communication strategies

Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to promote language development

Support students’ participation in classroom activities through targeted interventions
Requirements:
-
Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field

Current and valid Washington State SLPA License
-
Fingerprinted and cleared through the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), or willingness to complete the process

Experience with early childhood populations preferred

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
