Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week | Onsite
We’re seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school district team in Bay City, Texas for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a full-time, onsite position working collaboratively with licensed SLPs to support students’ communication growth and success.
Education & Certification
-
Bachelor’s degree in Communicative Science Disorders
-
Active Texas SLPA License required
Special Knowledge & Skills
-
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
-
Knowledge of speech-language disorders and conditions
Experience
-
50 hours of clinical observation and assisting experience (required for license)
Major Responsibilities & Duties
Therapy
-
Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings under SLP supervision
-
Implement treatment programs and IEPs designed by supervising SLP
-
Carry over newly acquired communication skills to other contexts and situations
-
Represent speech pathology at ARD Committee meetings as directed
-
Conduct observations and prepare clinical materials
Consultation
-
Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate communication activities in the classroom
Compensation
-
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,100 – $1,500/week (based on experience, credentials, and local market)

Travel stipends available for candidates whose permanent residence is 50+ miles away
