Speech Pathologist Assistant in Belchertown, MA

This opportunity is for a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students primarily in grades 4-6, with some middle and high school learners in an elementary school setting located in Belchertown, MA. The position is a contract role running from January 19, 2026, through June 15, 2026. The caseload will include approximately 52 students, providing valuable speech and language support services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized speech-language services to students in compliance with their individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with speech-language pathologists, educators, and families to track student progress and adjust interventions
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Supporting students in small groups and individual sessions to improve communication skills
Qualifications:
- Active SLPA license in Massachusetts is required
- Experience working in school settings or with similar age groups preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills essential
Position Details:
- Start date: January 19, 2026
- End date: June 15, 2026
- Work schedule: 35 hours per week, 5 days per week
- Pay rate: $35 per hour
