An opportunity is available for a Texas Licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide essential speech-language services within a school environment. This full-time, onsite role supports students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, contributing to their communication development and academic success.
Location: Spring, TX (Southwest Houston area)
Position Type: Full-time, Contract (ASAP – June 4, 2026)
Setting: Onsite at a public elementary school (no virtual option)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language support to students following individualized plans under supervision
- Collaborate with educators and specialists to enhance student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Adhere to district policies and professional standards
- Communicate proactively with supervisors and team members
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Active Texas SLPA license (fully licensed, no interns, and no additional clinical hours required)
- Previous experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Southwest Houston locations
- Dependable, punctual, with strong communication skills
- Ability to pass a drug screening and complete fingerprint/background check within the first three days of contract signing
