Key Responsibilities:

Implement speech and language therapy activities under the supervision of a licensed SLP
-
Work with students one-on-one or in small groups on speech, language, fluency, and voice goals
-
Assist in screening and evaluation processes
-
Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to help meet student communication needs
-
Understand and support IEP goals within the special education framework
-
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to state/district guidelines
Requirements:
-
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
-
Valid SLPA license in Louisiana
-
Previous experience with school-aged children preferred
