Speech Therapist Assistant in Rohnert Park, CA
A School-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available in Rohnert Park, CA, offering both full-time and part-time opportunities. This role supports speech-language pathologists in delivering high-quality therapeutic services to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of individualized speech and language therapy plans for K-12 students
- Support speech-language pathologists in data collection, progress monitoring, and documentation
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to facilitate effective communication strategies
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of treatment goals and modifications as needed
Desired Qualifications:
- Completion of required SLPA certification or licensure according to state standards
- Experience working with students in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff
- Ability to manage a caseload and provide individualized support
- Commitment to working under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist

Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive pay ranging from $35 to $44 per hour, based on experience
