Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Sarasota, FL
Schedule: 1 Day/Week
Pay Rate: $25–$28 per hour (based on experience)

This opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact by supporting students’ communication and language development while maintaining a flexible schedule. Contract renewals for the next school year may be offered based on performance and district needs.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:

Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant license/registration through the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology

Completion of an approved SLPA training program or degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Sciences and Disorders
-
Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
-
Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
-
Successful completion of background check and drug screening
Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language therapy services to students under the direction of a licensed SLP
-
Support students with communication, language, and articulation skill development
-
Conduct 1:1 and small group therapy sessions as directed in individualized education programs (IEPs)

Record and report progress toward therapy goals in compliance with district and state standards

Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement effective communication strategies in the classroom

Maintain communication with the supervising SLP, educators, and families
