Pay: Starting at $32/Hour (based on experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in supporting students within the Sarasota, FL area schools. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct therapy services and assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as directed by the supervising SLP.

Assist in implementing IEP goals and therapy activities designed by the supervising SLP.

Collect and record data on student performance and progress during sessions.

Prepare therapy materials and maintain organization of therapy spaces.

Communicate with teachers and staff to support students’ speech and language development in the classroom.

Participate in meetings and professional development as required.
Requirements
-
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Active Florida SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one.

Previous experience working with school-age children preferred.

Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a school-based team environment.
