A Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Santa Clarita, CA, offering a travel-based role supporting multiple school sites. This role involves assisting Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with their caseloads, without carrying an independent caseload. The position requires flexibility as assignments may change based on district needs.

- End Date: June 4, 2027
- Hours: 30 hours per week
- Positions:
- Position 1: Valencia High School (Monday-Wednesday), ATP Program at Castaic High School (Thursday-Friday)
- Position 2: To Be Determined (TBD)
Responsibilities:
- Support SLPs in delivering therapeutic intervention to students with speech and language delays or disorders
- Assist with data collection and documentation related to student progress
- Help prepare materials and implement activity plans as provided by the SLP
- Adapt to changing school assignments and collaborate effectively with school staff
- Travel between assigned schools as required to maintain continuity of services
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Proven experience as an SLPA in a school setting preferred
- Ability to support SLPs managing caseloads of approximately 45 students
- Flexibility and readiness to adapt to schedule and location changes
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid certification/licensure as an SLPA or eligibility for certification
