Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a part-time, school-based contract opportunity in Santa Clarita, California. This role will support students during the Extended School Year program. We are conducting interviews immediately and encourage qualified candidates to apply promptly.
Position Details:

Contract Dates: June 16, 2025 – July 15, 2025

Student Population: Primarily special education students
Qualifications:

Active SLPA license issued by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board

Must meet all requirements set by local and state regulations for school-based SLPAs
-
Previous experience working with special education students highly preferred
-
School-based or pediatric experience is a plus
Job Responsibilities:
-
Assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist in providing direct therapy to students

Implement documented treatment plans or protocols
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress

Support students’ communication goals in collaboration with educators and families
-
Participate in team meetings, IEPs, and student support planning as needed
-
Follow all ethical and legal standards of practice in educational settings
Compensation and Benefits:

Weekly direct deposit, pay starting at $30-$40 per hour
