Job Description:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school team in Santa Clara, CA. This is a full-time, contract position serving students in a school-based setting. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students’ communication goals.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of an SLP

Assist with implementing IEP goals and therapy plans

Document student progress and maintain accurate records

Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents

Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
Qualifications:

Active California SLPA license (required)

Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

School-based experience preferred, but not required
-
Excellent communication and organizational skills

Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
Position Details:

Hours: 35 hours per week (typically Monday–Friday)

Caseload: Based on school assignment (caseload and grade levels will be discussed during the interview)

Start Date: As soon as possible

End Date: End of school year (with potential renewal)
