State Requirements
Applicants must meet all Florida state and district requirements. Candidates who do not meet the minimum requirements will not be considered.
Typical requirements include:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited SLPA or related program
Active Florida SLPA license
Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
Ability to pass background and district screening requirements
Typical Job Duties
Provide speech and language services as directed
Support student IEP goals and progress monitoring
Maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with school-based teams
Assist with therapy preparation and activities
