Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA CA licensure is required.
- Experience with AAC device utilization in educational settings.
- Comfortable supporting diverse age groups from TK through middle school.
- Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload of 7-15 students.
- Experience with push-in classroom models preferred.
Job Details:
- Contract duration: Current School Year (CSY), with potential extension through Extended School Year (ESY) or the following school year.
- Start date: January 5th or mid-January.
- Weekly hours: 15 to 30 hours.
- Workdays: 2 to 5 days per week.
- Setting: Two nearby school sites facilitating easy site coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to assigned students.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and related service providers during push-in sessions.
- Utilize AAC devices to support students with complex communication needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Participate in meetings and consultations as needed.
