Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in San Francisco, CA
This full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position offers an exciting opportunity to support K-12 students across multiple school sites in the San Francisco area. The contract runs from early January through mid-June 2026, providing essential speech therapy support alongside licensed Speech-Language Pathologists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-12
- Support multiple school sites, ensuring consistent care and communication across settings
- Collaborate closely with a Speech-Language Pathologist who will provide onsite supervision
- Monitor and document student progress to contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain a professional and supportive environment for students and staff
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active California SLPA license is required
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload spread across several school locations effectively
- Strong communication skills and collaboration with educational professionals and families
- Commitment to onsite work, respecting the scheduling needs of different school buildings
Location and Schedule:
- Position is based onsite within San Francisco, CA area schools
- Full-time, approximately 30 hours per week, with daily schedules varying by school site
