A full-time Speech Language Technician (SLT) is needed to provide vital support to Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in middle and high school settings. This contract role offers an opportunity to contribute to student success by assisting with speech and language services throughout the school year.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct speech and language support to students under the supervision of licensed SLPs
- Assisting with screening, assessments, and progress monitoring
- Implementing treatment plans and carrying out speech therapy activities
- Collaborating with educators and SLPs to support individual student needs
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or equivalent technician credential
- Experience working with middle and high school aged children
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to follow treatment protocols and supervise guidelines effectively
- Familiarity with school-based speech-language service delivery
