We are seeking multiple full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to support K-12 students across various charter schools in the Minneapolis area. This contract position offers the opportunity to work onsite in diverse school settings, providing essential speech and language support to children throughout the academic year.
Location: Saint Paul, MN (placements within Minneapolis area charter schools)
Duration: Academic year (NSY) contract
Schedule: Full-time, onsite
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists.
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Monitor and document student progress regularly.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student communication goals.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA certification or equivalent.
- Experience working with K-12 populations, preferably in school settings.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to undergo interview process for academic year placement.
